Katy Piecuch

Katherine Hopkins-Piecuch received her BM and MM in Oboe Performance from Lawrence University and New England Conservatory respectively. She is the Adjunct Oboe Professor at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. She also teaches middle school choir and instrumental music at St. Mary’s Episcopal School in Memphis, TN. Besides her teaching duties; she is a member of the University of Mississippi Faculty Woodwind Quintet and performs regularly with area churches and orchestras including the Memphis Symphony and the Germantown Symphony. Ms. Piecuch also received her certification as a Woodwind Repair Technician from Minnesota State College, South East Technical (formerly Red Wing Vocational Technical Institute) and worked for Powell Flutes and James Keyes Bassoons. She currently repairs instruments for area amateurs and professionals in the Mid-South area.
