Music 100: Recital Attendance
Music 100 is a music listening experience, which is fundamental to any music education. Students attend music department recitals and are exposed to a varied body of music, opening their experience to repertoires and styles beyond their areas of specialization.
All undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Music or Bachelor of Music (Music Performance or Music Education emphases) students must complete six semesters of Music 100 with a passing grade. Music minors must complete two semesters with a passing grade.
Music 100 is a Z-graded course, meaning that a passing grade is noted as “Z,” and carries zero credits.
Please review the departmental recital syllabus carefully. If you have any questions, speak to your advisor, or to departmental recital supervisor Amanda Fliflet (firstname.lastname@example.org).
