Cara Matlock Jones has worked with Choral Activities for 5 years, helping manage the choral festival, concerts, auditions, meetings with parents and students, and more. “I am a travel agent, a budget manager, and an emergency uniform mender . . . and everything in between,” she says. Her husband, Rex, is a professor and documentary filmmaker for the Center for the Study of Southern Culture’s Southern Documentary Project. They have two children, Maggie, 25, and John Layne, 22.
